ANTHRACITE GREY

Anthracite is probably the most luxurious of the grey shades, and has long been a trend colour for everyday and luxury articles. This trend colour has now also entered the kitchen. Anthracite looks extravagant and high quality, and stands for design purism with that certain something.

LIMITLESS CREATIVE FREEDOM

Anthracite grey is timeless and can be combined excellently with countless colours and materials. It is a fascinating design background to stage the kitchen, in front of which other colours and materials such as wood and metal can shine.

THE RIGHT LIGHT

In dark kitchens, a well thought out lighting concept is particularly important. Properly staged by natural and artificial light, dark elements lend the room depth and a special atmosphere.

WASTE WOOD AND ANTHRACITE

Waste wood is an excellent design element to lend cosiness to a purist kitchen. The use of a wood in a kitchen with a minimalist design creates an exciting atmosphere. With our room concept “Finiso” we have used just this effect: colour fronts in “anthracite grey” meet a six centimetre thick counter top in natural, oiled “old oak” and a worktop made of natural stone. The result: a design kitchen between raw charm and classic modern.

METALLIC SURFACES

The texture of the surfaces is an important factor, when functionality and design need to harmonise. Metallic and metal look surfaces have become increasingly popular in the last few years. A dark background makes extravagant furnishings such as brass taps or extractor hoods in gold or oxidised colours shine. The effect is particularly striking, if the dark kitchen fronts are designed with a matt surface.
