BRASS
No one can get away from the home trend of brass this season. The luxurious material works both as a shiny accent, and used opulently for whole surfaces.
No one can get away from the home trend of brass this season. The luxurious material works both as a shiny accent, and used opulently for whole surfaces.
Brass is the perfect addition to minimalist living concepts. The warm gold look forms a wonderful contrast to light natural materials, cool powder tones and glass. So that the furnishing doesn’t look overloaded, the brass accents should only be used sparingly.
Combined with dark, vibrant colours and velvet, brass sprinkles a hint of vintage and is reminiscent of the 50s, when the metallic tone was very popular once before. Brass provides a soft aesthetic and brings value and warmth to the furnishings.
With our kitchen concept IMPRESO we used the brass fronts extravagantly. They form the discreetly shimmering background for the luxurious kitchen island with the veneer “arabica oak”. Fine details such as the wine cooler between the base cabinets and decorative glass doors with light profiles create a harmonious overall concept.
Brass looks particularly luxurious in front of a dark green background. Combined with blue it looks refreshing and modern. Anthracite grey makes the metallic tone shine.
